What is Celebrex?

FDA Black Box Warning for Celebrex
The Food and Drug Administration is giving Celebrex a 'black box' warning.
Known Celebrex side effects include the increased risk of heart problems among those taking it in high doses. Pfizer announced its finding in December 2004.
The National Cancer Institute discovered that patients taking 400mg to 800mg of Celebrex daily had a 2.5 times greater risk of experiencing major side effects, such as heart problems, than those who were taking the placebo or sugar pill.
