Robert
Fisher
As owner, Chief Marketing Officer, and director of our Intake Department, it’s Attorney Rob Fisher’s job to make sure you know we are always here for you and that our relationship with you begins the second you contact us.
Rob ensures that our in-house intake department and on-call in-house attorneys are there when you need us, whether you decide to call, chat, or email. He is dedicated to making sure you know we are a local law firm that cares about our community and the people within it.
About Attorney Rob Fisher
Rob spent nine years working in the insurance industry as a defense attorney. He represented insurance carriers for third-party disputes including auto accidents and premises liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist contract cases, and bad faith litigation. This experience provided him with valuable insight and knowledge; however, it also made him realize that he was fighting for the wrong side.
Rob wanted to work somewhere that aligned with his core values and aspirations to help people and to better his community.
In 2011, impressed by the firm’s commitment and dedication to both its clients and charities in its surrounding area, Rob joined Edgar Snyder & Associates. Since then, Rob has successfully represented hundreds of injured clients, focusing on motor vehicle accidents, contract litigation over insurance policies, and premises liability, getting results through settlements, arbitrations, and trials.
Due to his hard work, determination, and dedication to his clients, Attorney Fisher rose from an Associate, to Partner, to Owner.
During his career, Attorney Fisher has:
- Been admitted to the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County
- Been selected to the Super Lawyers list since 2022, an honor awarded to the top five percent of state-wide lawyers
- Litigated hundreds of cases, including more than 100 arbitration hearings and mediations. Tried multiple cases to verdict
- Earned membership to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is for attorneys who have achieved million and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. Less than 1% of United States lawyers are members.
More From Attorney Fisher
“I love helping people, and being a lawyer at this firm has allowed me to do so to my greatest capability. I come from a steel mill family, and I believe that blue collar background allows me to better understand my friends, neighbors, and community. As a personal injury attorney, often part of the job is helping people get their lives back together after a tragic accident. I feel that my “keep going/keep pushing” mentality is beneficial to my clients in their greatest time of need.
I also love sports because who doesn’t in Pittsburgh. I have three kids and coach them all in basketball and have built a nonprofit organization ‘North Stars Athletics’ to further give kids opportunities to play sports at a reduced cost. I am also on the board of the Pine Richland Youth Center, which is focused on giving kids in the community the opportunity to participate in sports, camps, and other enrichment activities. I think it’s crucial that every child has the chance to learn to be a teammate, make friends, and feel connected. I love teaching kids how to win, how to lose, and how to keep going.
Also, my secret passion is the Pittsburgh Pirates—my family has had season tickets since 1993. Win or lose, this is my city and that is my team.” - Attorney Fisher
