JDRF Western & Central PA Chapter
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation supports the research and advocacy needed to help those affected by Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). Edgar Snyder & Associates is a proud sponsor of the start and finish line of the JDRF OneWalk in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. We also provided an Edgar Snyder Hope Grant to Carolyn Bummer, who was recently diagnosed with Juvenile T1D.
What is the JDRF Western & Central PA Chapter?
JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. Their strength lies in the exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end T1D. They seek to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
Providing a Hope Grant
Edgar Snyder & Associates gave a Hope Grant to a young girl named Carolyn Bummer, who had just learned that she had juvenile T1D. She worked so hard at fundraising efforts for the JDRF OneWalk in Pittsburgh that she qualified for this $1,000 grant and a VIP walk day experience.
